NERVE CENTER
(SIXTH SOLO EXHIBITION)
NERVE CENTER is an immersive, multi-sensorial art installation that serves as a tangible portal into TLaloC’s ongoing “Elgreen Project” - Ficciones Series - Architectural Landscapes. The exhibition space invites the audience into a liminal, dark environment filled with unidentifiable, glowing elements, transporting them to another time and place. Immersed in a peculiar sweet scent and shrouded by a powerful musical theme composed by the Mexican drummer, percussionist, and contemporary jazz artist, Miguel Soto, this exhibition was featured at last year’s Artscape 2023, America's largest free outdoor arts festival."
NERVE CENTER was made possible by the Central Baltimore Partnership, with generous support from The William G. Baker, Jr. Memorial Fund (creator of the Baker Artist Awards), Bloomberg Philanthropies, and The Robert W. Deutsch Foundation.
